Description

Taiwan, officially the Republic of China (ROC), is a state in East Asia. The island of Taiwan has an area of 35,808 square kilometres (13,826 sq mi), with mountain ranges dominating the eastern two-thirds and plains in the western third, where its highly urbanised population is concentrated.

This generic, but purpose designed, 3D terrain model was created for military tank crew training.

It was modelled, so as to include a wide range of training scenarios, situations and terrain types within a relatively small area of 16 sq km. Within this area is 32km of surfaced roads and 3km of un-paved roads. It was designed so that anywhere within its area can be driven upon.

The project was done in conjunction with the Primary Image.
