Description
This area was created as a 3D real-time replication of the SRS (Small Road System) Test Track at the TRL Centre.
It was used in conjunction with the driving simulator for a range of projects in relation to research in driving and road systems development.
It was supplied to us an old and poor resolution model, that ran at low frame rates (30hz). We upgraded it visually, adding more detail and modernised it, to higher visual standards whilst also restructuring it, adding better scene management and improving its run time frame rates (60hz plus).
The project was undertaken in conjunction with the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL).
