This accurate, geo specific 3D terrain model, covers an area in length of over 3km. The modelled area includes the stations at Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge” rel=”noopener” target=”_blank”>London Bridge. London bridge station was mid build when this model was created.

12 different training routes (Moves) were accurately created in detail, with detailed signage, selectable signalling and points.

This Real-time scenario was modelled for use in rail driver training. Its primary purpose was for drivers to view and understand new and remodelled rail lines and upgrades, helping them to fully learn new routes, prior to driving them for real.

This project could also be used for signal sighting development and planning reviews.

The project was undertaken in conjunction with Track Access Services Ltd as part of the Crossrail project.
