Description

This detailed, geo specific and accurate 3D terrain model of the North Doncaster Chord covers an area in length of over 7km, including the new viaduct.

4 different training routes (Moves) were accurately created in detail, with detailed signage, selectable signalling and points.

This Real-time scenario was modelled for use in rail driver training. Its primary purpose was for drivers to view and understand new and remodelled rail lines, helping them to fully learn new routes, prior to driving them for real.

This project could also be used for signal sighting development and planning reviews.

The project was undertaken in conjunction with Track Access Services Ltd.
